war

so we were talking up at school the other night about the war in Iraq.  The main (obvious) question was if we agreed with it or not.  This is a great question and it will definitely produce a debate that could last for hours, however, this question should not come between our support of our troops.

This aforementioned topic has new meaning to me now since I have signed up for the Navy and I am leaving in April.  I think the most important concept right now is no matter if you support the war or not, you should show support of our troops.

If I was a soldier/sailor/airmen/etc that just came back from Iraq, I would've been a  little mad and a little discouraged.  The discussion kept bringing up negative points in our involvement, which stems from our media outlets.  But what you dont see is the children and families following and mobbing our troops saying thank you and laughing and playing.  This is why I say SUPPORT THE TROOPS NO MATTER WHAT!  These guys and girls have volunteered (there has not been a draft) to go over there and risk their lives. 

Dont know where I was going with all of that jabber but just read the words in caps. It sums the whole thought up.
